This M24 x 90 High Strength Friction Grip (HSFG) Bolt and Nut set is manufactured in accordance with BS EN 14399-3 and is designed to deliver superior load-bearing capacity and friction-based shear transmission in structural steelwork. The bolt's performance surpasses that of standard bolts due to its unique tension-based operating principle.
Unlike conventional bolts that rely primarily on compression and shear through the bolt shaft, HSFG bolts are intentionally preloaded to induce clamping force between the connected plates.
