The 4.8 x 38 Wingdrill LS CSK Light Section Self Drilling Screws are precision-engineered for fastening timber and plywood to steel surfaces. These screws are designed for a high, consistent, and positive mechanical performance, offering fast and efficient drilling and fastening in one simple operation.
The screws feature special wings that ream a clearance hole in the timber, preventing jacking and ensuring a secure fix. This feature also facilitates smooth drilling, allowing the screw to cut easily through both thick and thin steel, from 1.5mm to 12mm in thickness. Made from heat-treated carbon steel and bright zinc-plated for durability, these screws offer long-lasting, reliable performance.
Suitable for use with all grades of chipboard, plywood, softwood, and hardwood, this self-drilling screw is ideal for timber-to-steel applications. Its countersunk Phillips recess head ensures a flush fit, while the self-embedding head further enhances its secure fixing capabilities.
